TCL Classic

Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: Bets 3, Wins 1, Losses 2, P&L -4.2 Pts

Round One Trades

Sell Paul Casey over L W Zhang 18H MB at 7 with Sporting Index for 0.2 Pts M/U 31, Loss 4.8 Pts

Sell Thammanoon Srirot over Joakim Haeggman 18H MB at 0.4 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.2 Pts M/U -28, Profit 5.24 Pts

Sell Charl Schwartzel over Paul Broadhurst 18H MB at 1.8 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.2 Pts M/U 25, Loss 4.64 Pts

Reasons: Casey only leads 5-3 over Zhang in head to heads since Jan 2005 and R1 scoring is even tighter at 3-3-2. Zhang has shown signs recently of deteriorating but even so 7 seems too high in this match. Srirot is slight favourite with the exchange whereas other firms have Haeggman favourite. With any sort of start Haeggman is value. We opposed Schwartzel last week on this tour and although we lost both matches it was the play of his opponent that beat us as Schwartzel in a poor field could only finish 40th. Broadhurst shot 65 here in R1 last year then missed the cut. Lets hope for a similar start this year.
