Matchup bets:

Stake 3pts    Padraig Harrington to beat Trevor Immelman                  -111 @ Expekt
Both players are playing well at the moment and not a lot to separate them ability wise. But Immelman's very
poor, albeit slightly improving, form in Florida is in complete contrast with Harrington's excellent form here.
The possible windy conditions should probably suit Harrington and his game looks in fine fettle at the moment
to take this.

Stake 3pts    Ernie Els to beat Jim Furyk                                               +103 @ Expekt
Els is looking strong at the moment and his three year plan to overtake Woods as number one does not look like
a complete pipe dream given recent evidence. His ball striking is getting better with every event and he looks like
a man full of confidence at the moment. Both players have similar records here and of course are of similar ability
levels. But as Els's game progresses Furyk's game has hit a bit of a lull of late and his iron play in his last two starts
was significantly poorer than Els ball striking ability at the moment, so odds against Els has to be taken.

Stake 2pts    Stewart Cink to beat Chris DiMarco                                 -108 @ Centrebet
Stake 2pts    Jose Maria Olazabal to beat Chris DiMarco                    -110 @ Stan James
A couple of plays against DiMarco who despite playing with a lot more consistently this year has a very poor record
in Florida and a quite attrocious record here. Cink's recent form is decent enough and he has a good enough previous
record here to suggest he should be a clear favourite. And Olazabal, despite missing the cut when we had him as
a selection last week, merits favouritism. His play in last week's opening round was very poor, but he hit a splendid
second round of 69 to miss the cut by only one stroke and in his previous start here he finished a strong 6th.

Further Matchup bets:

Stake 3pts    David Toms to beat Adam Scott                                        -110 @ The Greek
Toms oviously has the excellent record here while Scott missed the cut in his only start here. And Toms's form this
season is far superior to Scott's quite poor form so far. But the clincher is the decision to grow the rough longer to
offer some defence for the course. Scott is generally a poorer player in these conditions and I don't expect a big
showing from him this week.

Stake 2pts    Stephen Ames to beat John Rollins                                  -103 @ Centrebet
Rollins continues to play well but that form has to dissipate sometime and with a poor previous record here, with
previous finishes of a missed cut and 83rd, this could be the week of his downturn. Ames has solid recent form,
course form and Florida record. He should be the favourite here.
