Round 2 plays, Don't normally get involved after the first round but with Tiger holding a 2 shot lead there are some great odds available for players who will go close and have some ew appeal. R.Allenby 1pt ew @ 33/1 Ladbrokes (1/5 1,2,3,4) H.Mahan 1pt ew @ 28/1 Bet 365 (1/4 1,2,3,4) Some early plays this week... P.Mickelson 2pts win @ 11/1 Extrabet Has course form of 5,7,35,3,12 and after his heroics in the final round of the masters can expecta a big week. I do have slight concerns over his ability to throw shots away when in contention but at these odds I amore than happy to side with Lefty G.Ogilvy 1.5pt ew @ 22/1 Tote Had a slight lapse of form following the birth of his child but is having a great year and has already won twice this season. Has course form of 10,22,10,24,22 which is good if not brilliant but is clearly back on his game, has had a couple of weeks off and can beat anyone on his day. A.Kim 0.75pt ew @ 30/1 General Won here last year following a 5th the previous year so clearly loves the course. Is a different class to the majority of the field on his day but has been suffering with back problems and hence oly a 0.75ew play over form and fitness concerns. R.Sabbatini 1pt ew @ 40/1 General Will be kicking himself for not finishing one shot better off last week and for missing numerous chances in the last 6 holes but is not the sort of player to let that get him down. In fact quite the opposite and should come out firing again this week at good odds. Started finding his game following a couple of quiet seasons (including changing club manufacturer) and think it is only a matter of time until he adds a win to his recent form of 20,8,2 and did finish 3rd here 2 years ago. N.Watney 0.75ew @ 55/1 Boylesports If he was worth backing last week at 16/1 he is definitely worth foloowing at these odds. Has done a huge amoung of work on his short game and is a far better player than in previous years. Has shown a liking for the course with finishes of 11,21,24,40 in the last 4 years and whilst he did miss the cut last week his form prior to that week read 2,12,4,19. R.Karlson 0.75 ew @ 70/1 Skybet Talent is permanent, form is temporary! Well there is no question of this mans talent so let hope the form returns this week at huge odds for a player who has won the European Order of Merit last year! A.Scott 0.5 ew @ 70/1 Stan James Whilst he has been suffering this week I am prepared to risk a little wager at these odds for another who has endless talent and has course form of 16,3,24,8. B.Curtis 0.75 ew @ 100/1 General Another player who can rise to the occassion and definitely playes better when the "big fields" are present. Big odds for a player who has finished 2nd here last year!
