Was initially sceptical of going again after backing her win last week. But a look at the course for this week (Kooyonga) put another course in the head: Sunningdale, where Shin won the RWBO. Add in her strong record on Australian sandbelt courses and I like her chances of riding the wave built with the January boot camp and return to her old bagman.

Aussie youngster who was 2nd on the second tier tour last year, was in Adelaide last month and played the course as prep, is mentored by Karrie Webb and had a round with her this week (could be useful, Webb is fiercely good at playing these Open tracks). 20th on her event debut two years ago, 7th last year.

Green got solo third and the 8th hole probably cost Shin the place. She was one shot outside a return and twice made double bogey at that hole.
