Sell Toru Taniguchi over Brendan Jones 18H R1 MB at 4 with Sporting Index BetHiLo for 0.25 Pts.
M/U 13, Loss 2.25 Pts
Taniguchi has an unassailable lead going into the last event of the 2007 Japanese season, with a JPY40M lead over Katayama in 2nd with Jones, his R1 opponent this week, in 3rd. This has possibly been the reason for Sporting to go 4-7 as although course form favours Taniguchi as well with a 7/3/15 record against 21/DNP/7, their H2H's this year show a 9-8 lead and their scoring average shows a less than 0.1 stroke difference. Taniguchi is obviously the better player as the stats show but 4-7 is over-emphasising his superiority. |
