Gregory Bourdy to beat Thongchai Jaidee - 5 points Evens (SJ) Tough to argue with course form of 1/14/2/39/10/21 and his short game was super when under pressure down the stretch in victory last year. Results weren't stunning leading up to victory last year although admittedly they were better than recent form with just sporadic good finishes such as 8/12 in Ireland and France respectively and top-25 in the Czech event, where he was 4th after three rounds before a disastrous 4-over 9 did for his slim chance on Sunday. A bad start last time at the KLM saw him chasing shadows from 105th place, but he rose to the challenge to finish just outside the top-40 and could be primed for a burst back to form at a course he clearly likes and suits his game, and at which he put up some tremendous stats in 2013. The Paratrooper is as gritty as anything but his lofty position on the RTD (13th) relies heavily on early-season form and that win at the Nordea. Recent form, however, is poor and even though he has been competing in the better events the finishes are nothing to write home about. There is a rumour that he has an injured elbow and whilst that can't be relied on, it does seem as if his price is boosted by the win here in 2012, out of place with next-best efforts of 26. On the balance of things, Bourdy brings real expectation to the event and there are enough negatives against Jaidee to be against him at odds-on.
