3-0; +6.00pts (system plays: 4-3-0) No round 1 plays. Round 2 play (2pts): Raphael Jacquelin to beat Paul Waring +100 @ Stan James WON by 6 Opposing Waring who finished the 1st round in the top-10 for the first time in over 11 months. His best finish in the last ten weeks is 46th and he hasn't finished ahead of Jacquelin in any event over that period, so there appears to be a good chance that he won't stay in the top-10 for the rest of the week. [unofficial rd2 system plays: Lawrie Pa tb Cabrera-Bello +125 (L); Molinari F tb Hanson +109 (W); Aguilar tb Dyson +105 (L)] Round 3 play (2pts): Henrik Stenson to beat Jens Dantorp -225 @ Paddy Power, BetVictor, ToteSport and BetFred [available generally] WON by 7 A mismatch between the #2-ranked player in the world against #385. Dantorp is playing on his home course and he used that to good effect when securing a share of the 1st round lead on Thursday, but from that position he was four-over-par after the opening 10 holes of today's round. That suggests that he wasn't coping with the pressure too well, which doesn't bode too well for tomorrow when he is paired with Henrik Stenson with both players in 4th place. I would expect Stenson to beat him at least two of every three occasions when in this position, so I do think that there is value in these odds. [unofficial rd3 system plays: Stenson tb Gallacher -213 (W); Jacquelin tb Jamieson -110 (W); Larrazabal tb Wattel -125 (L); Morrison tb Gee -138 (W)] Round 4 play (2pts): Thomas Pieters to beat Jens Dantorp +100 @ Stan James WON by 9 Opposing Dantorp again with Stan James pricing him as a favourite against a player who has secured two top-10 finishes in his last four starts and is currently 14th after three rounds. Dantorp used his home advantage to good effect in rd1, but he has struggled from tee-to-green over the last two rounds when the pressure has been on him. Despite dropping further down the leaderboard with each round, Dantorp is still on course for his highest-ever finish on the European Tour so the pressure will still be on him tomorrow. He should play better than when paired with Stenson today, but I do like these odds on a player in form and with ties void.
