Simon Dyson to beat Richie Ramsay - 5 points @ 5-6 (Bet365)

I was tempted by Jimenez over Manassero and that would have been the play but for the Legend's missed-cut at one of his favourite tracks. Instead, I'm biting the bullett at the price of 5-6 to back course (and Dutch) specialist Dyson over Ramsay.

Ramsay looks over the injuries that blighted his season but he was disappointing when in front in the European Masters last week, eventually finishing 8th, and whilst that boosted his recent form it was a worrying sign that he couldn't cope. He has that 2nd round Hilvershum in 2012 but little round here and he faces a true course specialist that can just carry that bit extra in class and ability to win.

Little needs to be added to the Englishman's form on Links, or in this country, where he has three wins including two around Kennemer. Third here last year when the event returned to the course after a break, he also returned to form last time when 7th in Italy to push forward a steady run of form and he looks sure to cement his place inside the top-30/35 of the RTD.

Dyce currently ranks about 30 places higher than the Scot in the rankings, which I see as about right, and Ramsay doesn't seem the sort to be able to find something under pressure, something he will face trying to reach the top 60 over the next few events. Top it all with their head-to-head, which sees Ramsay winning just once in the last nine starts (4th to Dyson's 7th in Italy), and Dyson leading 11-5 since September 2013, and 7-1-1 in their last nine. Interestingly, Dyson also leads in round-by-rounds and he'll only need to stay in touch over the whole event to prove too consistent, especially here.
