Branden Grace 1.5 points e/w @ 25-1 (General) Branden Grace 7.5 points Top-10 @ 4-5 (Corals) It's hardly jumping on the bandwagon given Grace was tipped in the 72-hole matchup column but of the current top-10 he does look excellent value at 25-1 on the books and bigger with Betfair. Grace improved massively on an average first round, although that is clearly down to him playing the back-9 a full nine shots better. He attacked well today in slightly better conditions, the two Eagles will give him great confidence going into the weekend, and that final birdie will also give a boost to the ego. 7th in this event last season, it is notable (as pointed out by a colleague on here) that he started with a 75 before going 13-under over the next three rounds, finishing with a 67 and in windy conditions that may occur once again. Any repeat of this will see him bang there at the jamstick and he has already said he likes the course and is going to give his game a real push this year, eager to produce top form in the Majors. I was torn between the 25s e/w or the exchange (where the 28s is now up-and-gone). Should he be laid late tonight at 28 or bigger I suggest a small play at that price (with a lay of double the stake at 8) but for now, the 25-1 e/w first three looks a good 7 points too big. Given all that, Coral's look to have got his top-10 price completely wrong. I can only see him going forwards over the weekend and being right in the pack with any repeat of his latest form. 4-6 looks more the right price and at this time, Corals look to have given the perfect cover.
