Backing a player with course experience - 20th here last year - against a course rookie. In fact, Jimenez is a player who is a rookie on most South African courses as he rarely plays here - just three Tour starts in this country since 1997. GFC is much more accustomed to South African course conditions with finishes of 26th, 20th and 11th in the last two years.

The former World #1 Amateur has clearly moved up a level as evidenced by his performance in the European Tour Playoff Series: he won the Turkish Airlines Open, finished 3rd in the DP World Tour Championship and now ranks 31st in the World Rankings as a professional. He has continued that form this week and I'll back to continue it for at least 18 more holes against a player who is inside the top-10 after 36 holes for only the second time in the last 12 months. It was tough year for Grace who tried to play on both the European and PGA Tours and remains committed to doing so again this year.
