1pt ew Keegan Bradley 100/1 Boylesports 6 places Bradley comes here in excellent form after finishing 4th last time out and he was also 4th in the US Open last month. He has only played in the Open twice but has but up two eyecathing finishes in 34th and 15th. He is already a major champion and will be looking to follow his good friend Mickelson in winning this great event. 1pt ew Brenden Todd 100/1 Tote 8 places 1pt ew Jim Furyk 60/1 PP 7 places 1pt ew J Spieth 40/1 boylesports 6 places Todd has been in exceptional form the last 2 months. He has went 4/5/17/8/5/1. Although he hasnot played an Open before his win came in Texas where it was very firm/fast and windy. Furyk was 4th last time it was played at Hoylake and certainly can plot his way round the course which will be essential this week. He has had 4 top 7 finishes in his last 6 starts and played well to finish 12th at the US Openon his last start. Spieth is a exceptional young talent who has performed consistantly well in the US this year. He has only been out of the top 20 once in his last 9 starts and he has been 2nd and 17th in the 2 majors so far this year. He showed up well last year in the Open before slipping back and it would be nosurprise to see him contend this week.
