Chris Wood to beat Alvaro Quiros - 9 points @ 10-11 (Spreadex)
I don't get this at all. Yep, I agree that the Spaniard is a multiple winner and that one round can spoil a very good bet but this is surely incorrect on many levels. Quiros has no form around here and is getting worse with a mc/53/44, form in Germany adds two more mc and a 63rd, and last week he was outside the top-40 on what may be a relevant course, requiring more accuracy than brute strength. His oppo Chris Wood has two lines of form at Gut, being a 12th on debut and 3rd last season, has never missed the cut in Germany, has three top-10s in his last five starts, is finding plenty of GIR and is knocking on the door for his second victory. Quiros stats for accuracy off the tee, scrambling and putting simply do not match up to the criteria for this week all being outside the top-50 and this is mis-match of the year, only failing short of a maximum 10 pointers by a fingernail.
