1pt ew Brian Gay 100/1 PP 7 PLACES Brian Gay has produced 2 very impressive wins on the PGA Tour this year. They have both been on par 70 courses with a premium on accuracy which is how Turnberry sets up this week. He has no open experience but did win by 10 shots at the Harbour Town links earlier in the year. A superb putter who is not afraid to win given the chance. 1pt ew Jim Furyk 33/1 PP 7 PLACES Furyk has been playing very consistently this year and also has plenty of Open experience with 4 top 5 finishes. A very solid fairways and greens player which should suit the course and is putting much better this year, currently sitting 4th in the putting stats. 1pt ew Steve Stricker NOW ** 50/1 7 places PP Stricker has 2 wins and 5 other top 10's in what has been an excellent season so far. Comes here full of confidence after winning on Sunday and has played links golf very well the last 2 years finishing 7th and 8th. 1pt ew David Toms 100/1 SJ 6 places Tom's driving is much improved this year which has led to a number of excellent performances in 09. He has finished 2nd 3 times including twice in his last 4 events. He has 6 top 6 finishes in 17 starts making the place part of the bet very appealing.
