Summary: 5.6 Pts
Profit from 3 bets (2 wins, 1 Loss)
Bet 1. 18H MB at Sporting Index. Sell Jarrod Moseley over Gavin Coles at 2. Stake 0.2 Pts.
M/U -13, Profit 3 Pts Three year h2h's sees Coles lead 7-4 in events and 6-3 in R1 scoring although Moseley has won the last two events played. Coles has average form here with a 10th and 13th mixed in with a couple of cut misses and although Moseley has won round here in 2002, his results since have been 26/cut/63. 2006 form sees very little positives for Moseley until last weeks' 2nd place although my argument against that would be that some players got far better weather to play in during the last two days than others, making the form suspect. Coles has played most of his golf in America this year, finishing 1st and 2nd over two weeks in September on the Nationwide tour and he came back home to finish 3rd in the Australian Open 3 weeks ago. This is a fair bet getting a 2pt start but don't accept any less.
Bet 2. 18H MB at Sporting Index. Buy Aron Price over Terry Pilkadaris at 1.5. Stake 0.2 Pts.
M/U 0, Loss 0.3 Pts Price has played a lot of his golf on the Nationwide Tour, but in Australia he has three Top 25's in 8 starts over the last three years. Pilkadaris in the same period has a best placed 35th in 5 starts as he has been playing most of his golf in Asia recently which seems a good career move as back home he has one Top 30 to his name in 19 attempts. Price's superior tour form suggests he should be clear favourite here.
Bet 3. 18H MB at Sporting Index. Buy Rod Pampling over Richard Green at 1.5. Stake 0.2 Pts.
M/U 16, Profit 2.9 Pts Pampling has a 3 year h2h lead of 13-7 in events and 13-6-1 in R1 matches. He also averages nearly a full stroke better scoring average in 06' and has three Top 10's in a row on this course compared to Green's 34/20/9 record in his last three visits here. Everything points to Pampling being a clear favourite maybe by as much as 1-4 so i'm surprised to see two firms offer a "choice" price.
