5-1; +7.80pts  (system plays: 1-3-0)

Round 1 plays (2pts):

Joost Luiten to beat Bernd Wiesberger +100 @ Pinnacle [also available @ Stan James and BetVictor]  WON by 1
Opposing a course rookie with one who has a very good record here. In his two appearances at Sentosa, Luiten has finished 14th in 2010 (2nd at the cut) and 5th last year. With very similar recent form, that should be a decisive advantage to Luiten.

Fredrik Andersson Hed to beat Scott Jamieson -105 @ Bet365  WON by 6
Opposing another course debutant in Jamieson. Similar to the previous match, both players have similar form, so the edge goes to the player with good course experience - Andersson Hed has been 4th and 8th at the cut in the last two years here.

Joost Luiten to beat Thorbjorn Olesen +100 @ Bet365  WON by 1
By contrast, Olesen is not a course rookie - he finished 133rd last year on his course debut, which included a 2nd round 77. On that basis, he is opposed with a player with a very good record on this course.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Jaidee tb Coetzee +120 (L); Moliniari E tb Jacquelin +100 (W)]

Round 2 plays (2pts):

Adam Scott to beat Paul Casey -133 @ Bet365  WON by 7
This is just the third time this year that Casey has started the 2nd day inside the top-10 - on the previous two occasions, he has shot 75-72 to fall outside the top-10 in the next round, so while he is certainly showing better form recently, he is not yet consistent enough to be backed to push on from his opening 68. I'll certainly back Scott instead - in six previous visits to Sentosa, he has won three times and finished in the top-3 in five of those visits.

Joost Luiten to beat Richie Ramsay -120 @ SkyBet  WON by 8
Luiten finished ahead of Ramsay in all three common events in the last month. Having also finished well ahead of him in each of the last two years here, Luiten looks to be the player to back in this matchup this week.

Soren Kjeldsen to beat Prom Meesawat -110 @ 5Dimes  LOST by 1
It was a poor finish to his round after such a good first nine holes that should be Meesawat's lasting memory of today's round. Given that he has finished mc-mc-mc-wd in the last four years here as well, a repeat of his second nine looked more likely tomorrow than a repeat of his first nine. Given also that Meesaway has failed to finish ahead of Kjeldsen in any of their last 15 common events, it is clear who I think should be the favourite in this matchup.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Yang tb Bhullar -125 (L); Yang tb Bjorn -125 (L)]
