NEC Invitational

Outright plays (total stake per play: 2pts)

Thomas Bjorn to win 66/1ew generally available

Showed great charachter in coming runner up last week and providing last week has not drained him too much, I see no reason why Thomas should not gone one further after a performance that must have boosted his confidence. He is more than capeable if he is on top of his game and with another monster of a course think he should go close.

A. Cabrera to win 80/1 e.w. @  William Hill

Angel has been playing great golf all year and his confidence is sky high. With a course with a par of 70 and measuring 7360 yards, length is going to be a premium and if he plays anywhere near as well as he did at Wentworth he should be in the mix on Sunday afternoon. I feel the odds of 80/1 are far to big and the Argentinian must be worth an interest.

Rod Pampling to win 150/1 e.w. generally available

He has had a great year on the US Tour and despite a slightly disappointing week last week feel that the odds are far too big again this week. Showed some solid course form with 14th last year and has had a little longer to prepare for this week so should be fresh (after the missed cut last week which was understandable after his 36 hole marathon on Sunday in The Invertationalthe week before.)
