Heffernan is generally regarded as marginally the better player and finished 2nd on the Canadian Order of Merit last year, while DeLaet finished 4th. The discrepancy in their odds this week can only be explained be the fact that DeLaet finished an excellent 12th in Joburg last week, while Heffernan narrowly missed the cut. Heffernan's odds of 200/1 really are rather insulting while Delaet still looks to be worth a small bet even at 66/1. |
