Finishing Position Buy Anton HAIG 0.5pts @ 48 (Sporting Index) Profit +11pts

Haig's current form is ok, but nothing more than that. Latest 28th in the SA Open, preceeded by a 49th in the Alfred Dunhill bears testament to that. Added to a missed cut here last year and a large field of 204 for this event persuades me that the value lies here in buying his FP this week. For those of you quick off the draw, you may catch the 1pt Arb with IG Index, who go 49-52.

18 Hole R1. Sell Schwartzel v MCLARDY 0.25pts @ 0 (Sporting Index) Profit +4pts

Interesting stats for this 18 hole match-up. Over the last year Schwartzel has won 3 out of the 7 events played together on the SA tour, making McLardy a marginal favourite for mine. However, on all tours over the last year Schwartzel has won just 3 from 14. McLardy playing just as well as present, if not better, also holds the course record here (east course) and is worth a play here.

18 Hole R1. Sell Sterne v G COETZEE 0.25pts @ 6 (Sporting Index) Profit +5.5pts

Not so much form to go on for this one. Richard Sterne isn't the quickest starter on tour and I feel there is some value in opposing him here at Sporting's prices. Sterne hasn't beaten Coetzee in the first round in any of the last three events played together, and I am happy to oppose him at 6.
