Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 1 Bet 1 Win. Profit 3.8 Pts.

R1 18H MB at Sporting Index. Sell Darren Fichardt over Ross Fisher at 3. Stake 0.2 Pts. M/U -16, Profit 3.8 Pts

Fichardt is quite a big favourite possibly because of form figures of 4-MC-1-1-6-7-2 and deservedly so, but I would argue that the price is maybe just a little too high. He comes up against a European who has posted two Top 10's in a row in this region with finishes of 9th in this event last year and 4th last week (tied with Fichardt) are that's better than anything Fisher achieved in Europe last year bar a 5th place in Ireland. It was in fact a fairly poor year for Fisher having come off of the Challenge Tour with 6 Top 10's in the later part of 2005 but results on his first year on the main Tour were very disappointing. Hopefully, this recent return to form last week will continue and he can take the honours in this first round match although 3 is the limit of the value and I wouldn't advise taking any less as Fichardt is a deserved favourite.
