Although current form is the most important factor of all, it has to be noted that Fergus had won 15 of their previous 18 meetings (and tied 2 of the other 3) before Morgan hit a bit of form in recent weeks with finishes of 21st, 7th and 3rd. Fergus' long term scoring average is 0.7 strokes better than Morgan's and on the one occasion they have played this course, he finished 18 places better. Morgan's current form possibly means he doesn't deserve to be underdog but he shouldn't be such a clear favourite either.
