Matchup Picks - Champions Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Odds: Matchups

Bayer Advantage Classic

FINAL RESULT: 2-0; +4.00pts

Reid/Barr WON by 10
Watson/Barr WON by 14

Chaos with the weather or not, that is two very convincing wins over just two rounds!

Matchup plays (2pts)

Mike Reid to beat Dave Barr -111 @ Paddy Power
Not only was Reid very impressive in following up his Senior PGA Championship win with a top-3 finish last week, he has generally been the far better player since Reid joined the Champions Tour. Reid has a 9-3-0 h2h record against his opponent on this Tour.

Tom Watson to beat Dave Barr -114 @ Expekt
With the event being played in Kansas and Watson's hospital being the main charitable beneficiary in this event, there is plenty of incentive for him to play as hard as he can. It also helps in this respect that he is paired with Jack Nicklaus in the opening round. So while Barr has shown some form recently, I'll side with the player that leads 21-6-1 h2h on this Tour.
