Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf (2pts):

Tom Purtzer to win 16/1 e.w. @ William Hill and BetInternet
Purtzer struggled on this course last year, but at least it means he is at higher odds than when backed last week. He finished 6th last week, having previously finished 3rd, 6th and 1st in the three events before the break around the Masters. In that form, and with so many of the leading players, bar Morgan, failed to produce any consistency, he looks good value for this event.

D.A. Weibring to win 25/1 e.w. @ William Hill and BetInternet
Weibring is making his debut in the Legends as he was too young to compete last year. It should be little handicap as they have only used this course once for this event and like, Purtzer, he is in good form at the moment. Take out his poor performance in the SBC Classic and his last four finishes read 7th, 5th, 6th and 6th. Very consistent and having won on Tour last year, he looks capable of converting this form into title-winning performances.

Wayne Levi to win 40/1 e.w. @ Stan James
Levi is another in good form and attracts a good price as he is not one of the name players on the Tour. Like Weibring, he won a Tour event towards the end of last year and so should not be expected to fold if he did gain the lead. He finished strongly to claim 3rd place last week (his third top-6 finish in his last six starts) and also finished strongly after a poor start on this course last year. With a decent start, he could well be in the frame on Sunday.

Final update: 0-3; -6.00pts

Purtzer 6th
Weibring 26th
Levi 9th

Disappointing blank on the event. Purtzer had been as high as 3rd on the last day, but finished one shot out of the places and Levi was a further shot back.
