5pts Ryan Palmer to beat Jeff Overton evs (ladbrokes)

Opposing Overton on the basis of what must have been a rather unsettled off-season which saw him arrested for being drunk and disorderly in mid-December. The case has only recently been closed after Overton agreed to a plea bargain, hardly ideal preparation for his opening event of the season in which his record is mixed at best. My money's on former champion Palmer, who's game has been showing a lot more consistency over the last 18 months and who relishes putting on these grainy bermuda greens.

7pts KJ Choi to beat Jeff Overton 1.55 (unibet)

With tip-top course and current form the 2008 champion looks good value even at these cramped odds.
