5.5 pts Martin Laird to beat David Toms 10/11 Betfred

Aside from a near miss in 2002 when in the midst of a real purple patch of form Toms course form is pretty mediocre. Laird on the other hand has finished a close 4th on his only appearance in 2010 when in contention throughout. He plays well fresh, impressed in the recent Mission Hills World Cup and should out score Toms on this lengthy layout.

3.3 pts Martin Laird to beat Aaron Baddeley 10/11 Ladbrokes

Also value in taking on Baddeley who rarely plays well after an extended break and looks over-rated this week in my eyes, possibly in part due to the fact that Austalians have such a good record here. There's not a lot else to recommend him on past evidence.
