Stake 2pts T Armour to beat Pavin -120 @ Stan James
Armour should go well again this week. In terms of recent form he has made the top 25 in his last four starts and on this course he has made the top 25 in his last six starts. Pavin's form currently and previously on this course is decent but still slightly inconsistent and he can't match Armour on both counts. Armour is by far the better player and being in suc good form and a largely consistent player he should be a stronger favourite here.
Armour beaten by Pavin by 3

Stake 2pts Baird to beat Wi -110 @ Skybet
Baird is another player fancied to go well this week. His recent form is excellent with top 20 finishes in seven of his last eight starts, a very good set of accuracy stats and decent previous course form with three top 30 finishes from five starts. Wi is capable of putting in a strong showing but has lacked the consistency of Baird all year long. A lot is being made of his second place finish here last year but he missed the cut on his only other start. Baird is the better player in my book and given his recent form and his better consistency he is a stronger favourite than this to defeat Wi.
