Stake 3pts Allenby to beat Furyk +105 @ Bet365
Furyk is a fine player but has had a disappointing season so far and last week put in another distinctly average performance despite playing on a course that he has prviously performed with great credit on. Allenby has been the definition of consistency all season, put in another decent showing last time out in the US Open and finished well on this course on his last two starts. He has an excellent chance of winning this if Furyk fails to sparkle again this week.

Stake 3pts Allenby to beat Immelman -120 @ WSEX
Stake 3pts Pampling to beat Immelman -110 @ Expekt
Immelman has had an erratic season so far with one Major victory, another excellent finish and well that's about it. Last time out at the US Open he returned another average finish and in his only previous start here he missed the cut in 2005. In stroke play tournaments this season the Masters is the only occasion where Immelman has finished ahead of Allenby in ten starts. Pampling also has the better h2h record this season although not as impressive a record as Allenby. Pampling, after a sticky start to the season, in his last seven events has five top twenty finishes, has been supremely accurate and in his two previous starts on the course gained a couple of top twenty finishes.

Stake 3pts Imada to beat Glover -110 @ The Greek & ToteSport
In h2h's this season Imada holds a comfortable 8-3 lead. The three times that Glover won came from a couple of missed cuts and a first round withdrawl from Imada. The price on Imada also looks big considering that Imada's current form is very decent and finished fifth here back in 2005. Glover regularly disappoints but has shown a glimmer of a return to form in his last start. But given Glover's inconsistency it hardly merits Imada being such a big price.

Stake 3pts Haas to beat Howell -105 @ FiveDimes
Stake 3pts Holmes to beat Howell -120 @ FiveDimes, Carib & WSEX
Similarly to Glover, Howell's recent form has been very poor but he showed a glimmer of a return to form last time out with a 17th place finish at the Buick. However, given Howell's lack of consistency and two missed cuts from his previous starts here I wouldn't want to bet on a return to form.
Haas has had a difficult season so far but his recent form has been very decent with some excellent stats to go with it. He also has the bonus of a good showing in this event last season.
Holmes has been in excellent form all season long and holds an impressive 10-3 lead over Howell in h2h's this season. Howell's three victories came twice when Holmes missed the cut and the other victory was back in January. Holmes has missed cut on his last two starts (the competitive US Open and the Travelers on a course unlikely to suit his game) but apart from a slight deterioration in his putting his overall stats look sound.
