Nothing really appealed yesterday but the rain delay has forced the players to go off in the same 2balls as they were yesterday which isn't usually the case in this event. This has opened up a play for us as Sporting have over reacted to the current scores in R1 (Scott -4, Furyk +1) and made Scott quite a heavy favourite for R2. Certainly, previous weeks results and those first 13 holes played suggest Scott should be favourite as Furyk has lost a fair bit of form recently, but even allowing for this, 4 is too high. This is a meeting of the two players who finished 1/2 last year in this event so both can play the course, so getting a 4pt start seems value especially when their R1 match has some life in it yet. |
