I will be continuing to post 18 holes plays this season in much the same vein as last year. So I will aim to assess the available odds each round and post plays where appropriate, however time constraints (or if there are no attractive bets available) will mean there won't be plays posted for every round of every event.

After a review of last year's staking plan I have decided it was a bit too conservative for this form of betting, so the stakes will be larger this year (roughly double but with the flexibiity to stake higher when a really good opportunity presents itself).

Best of luck to everyone in your golf betting for 2007!

Here we go...

FINAL RESULT : 1-2, -1.29pts

round  4: no plays.

round 3:
Back Trevor Immelman to beat Vijay Singh to win 3pts @2.24 at Pinnacle - lost
Both going great guns so far, purely a price play as I'd have them much closer together.

-----------------
round 2:
No plays today.

-----------------

round 1:
Back David Toms to beat Vijay Singh to win 3pts @2.6 at FiveDimes - lost

Singh has a good record in this event, but that has been a bit over-played in these odds when you consider Toms' overall Hawaii record.

Back Stephen Ames to beat Aaron Baddeley to win 3pts @2.1 at Paddy Power - won

Ames is another with a great Hawaii record and he looks to be over his injury problems which brought last season to a premature end for him. Can't agree with Badds being the favourite here.
