Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 2 bets, 1 win, 1 loss. Profit 18 Pts

Bet 1 - Sell Kevin Na over Jeff Brehaut 18H MB at 4 with
Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts M/U 16, Loss 3.6 Pts
A 9th place at the "Travelers" means that Na is quoted as a 4pt favourite in this match-up but take that away and there isn't much between these two players. H2H stats show Brehaut unbeaten in a year in R1 matches, but losing 5 of the 6 by the time Sunday (or usually Friday) night comes round. Na is obviously a slow starter on these bare stats and Brehaut does have the better course form. He has made every cut this century finishing 6th two years ago which is better than Na's solitary visit in 04' which resulted in a cut miss.

Bet 2 - Buy Bo Van Pelt FP at 42 with
IG Sport for 0.6 Pts M/U 78, Profit 21.6 Pts
53/cut/cut is Van Pelt's record round this track and although current form is more important than Course, I don't think the course numbers have been factored into the quote. Even although this is a poor field, at least it's a full field and there are 155 other opponents to Bo and results in his last 5 events with lower numbers have produced an average FP of 45. The quote is low due to a fast finishing 6th last week but even allowing for this 42 is fair.
