Matchup bets: (All bets: Total Stake 2pts )

An incredibly hard week to find any sort of value in this weeks matchups. I managed to find 6 possible value bets, five

of which involved opposing JB Holmes. So it's a toss-up between me underestimating his ability or five bookies over

estimating him. The situation certainly doesn't inspire confidence so I think I'll give this week a miss.

If you do fancy a bet against Holmes then taking him on with Tim Clark (-105 at 5Dimes) would be my preference. I

can't see why Holmes should be favourite against a player of Clarks proven ability who has both good current and course

form, irrespective of the potential of Holmes.

As for the one non-Holmes value bet, it's certainly value in my eyes, but I just can't bring myself to advise a bet on

Rich Beem. However at +114 to beat Hidemichi Tanaka, even taking into account his inconsistency, this looks big to me.
