RESULT: 0-3, -6pts

Stanley is away on holiday so this week's picks are provided by Chris.

Back Stuart Appleby 1.5pts e/w @33/1 available generally

Appleby has a 2nd and 3rd place to his name here from '97 and '00 and also has a couple of top twenty finishes in his last three visits so has shown he can play well in this quirky event - quirky both in terms of the course, which is at high altitidue and in terms of the modified stableford scoring. As a proven multiple winner he offers good value at this price.

Back Brandt Jobe to finish in the top ten 1.5pts @9/1 at Stan James

If Jobe fails to win a PGA Tour event in his career then he will look back on last year's International as the best chance he had. With a large lead heading in to the last round and strong support from the galleries due to his local connections he proceeded to make an absolute pig's ear of it. The course is suited to his game though and he has played well here on more than just that occasion, however the place only option is wise: it's hard to conceive of a more favourable set of circumstances than last year, yet he still couldn't get the job done.

Back Steve Stricker to finish in the top ten 1.5pts @9/1 at Stan James

Stricker has found a fair bit of form this season,  and is perhaps now ready to fullfill some of the potential he displayed in his early career. His record here isn't glittering, but on the flipside it isn't too shoddy either and with three top tens already from 11 starts this season these good generous odds for him to claim a fourth.
