Verplank beat Campbell by 19

Hart (DNS) v Triplett - void

Scott Verplank to beat Chad Campbell                     -105 @ 5Dimes & Centrebet

Campbell has had a whirlwind start to the season, but there has to be emotional if not physical effect soon. Given

that he he does not have a great record in this event (2004: 39th, 2005: mc) and he managed only one sub-par

round last week there is a good chance that it will happen this week. Even if Campbell shows no adverse effects

he has a great chance of overcoming Campbell. He continued his fine 2005 form into 2006 with a second place

finish at the Bob Hope, has a fine record in this event (2004: 7th, 2005: 19th) and last season defeated Campbell

on 10 out 15 h2h match-ups.

Note: +100 is available with BlueSq, Ladbrokes and PaddyPower but tie = losing bet.

Dudley Hart to beat Kirk Triplett                                 -104 @ 5Dimes

Hart has started the season far better than his figures suggest. In the Sony he finished a respectable 18th,

followed by three decent rounds at the Bob Hope and although he missed the cut last weekend he did follow up an

opening round of 80 with an encouraging 68. He finished 27th in last years event and beat Triplett 6-4 in h2h's last

season. Triplett is always hard to gauge as he either achieves a top-25 placing or he misses the cut. This year he

has made one appearance and missed the cut and he has made two appearances in this event, and both times he

has missed the cut. With that background it's hard to justify Triplett's favouritism in this match-up.
