Matchup bets: (All bets: Total Stake 2pts )

Tim Clark to beat Trevor Immelman                     -105 @ Carib

What we have here is a matchup between two players in fine form, but Clark has the advantage of having good

previous course form, finishes of 9th and 12th in his previous two starts, while Immelman has never played here

before. Clarks decent previous form is hardly surprising given that we've previously metioned his tremendous iron

play game and that is going to be of great benefit on this US Open style course. Clark holds the better h2h record

of 3 years: 14-7-1, 12 months: 7-4-1 and 3 months 2-3-1 and should be the favourite in this pairing.Anything

above -125 is decent value.

Brad Faxon to beat Fredrik Jacobson                 -110 @ SportingOdds

This course has a habit of throwing up course specialists and Faxon is definitely classed as one of those. His record

on this course reads an amazing 06-11-12-68-06-12-08-23-03. Not ideal for backing him in the outrights but perfect

for matchups. Jacobson can not match course form of that consistency and his current form is not that encouraging

either. In his last 14 starts he has missed the cut 50% of the time. Faxon's recent form is decent enough and he is

showing enough consistency to indicate that another bold showing is expected. Anything above -125 is decent value.
