1:3, -2.09pts.

round 3 2ball:

Back Craig Barlow to beat Mike Weir to win 2.5pts @3.0 at Coral - lost

Probably need my head read going back and opposing Weir here as he has made a blistering start to this event. He's now hit the front however - and that has a funny way of putting the brakes on players, even ones as experienced as Weir. Barlow has been going well, perhaps under the radar, and only lost this match by one shot yesterday. A higher price than we got in round 1, I have reservations but I feel this simply has to be a value play.

round 1 2balls:

Back Craig Barlow to beat Mike Weir to win 2.5pts @2.87 at Coral - lost

Yes Weir does have a pretty amazing record in this event, but after seemingly recapturing his form at the Bob Hope, last week showed that his game is still really out of sorts. He could well have a good week, but I think his erratisicm makes him a great player to oppose in matchbets right now. Barlow has a pretty good record in this event himself and these are some very juicy odds over 18 holes.

Back J.L. Lewis to beat Steve Lowery to win 1.5pts @2.15 at Pinnacle - won

Back Jason Bohn to beat Ryan Palmer to win 1.5pts @2.5 at Tote - lost

Opposing two of the players who made the 5 way tie for second last week at Scottsdale. On long term form they are both false favourites here. Not much to separate either matchup on course form. Lewis and Lowery have both been pretty poor here, while Bohn and Palmer have both fared ok, if not spectacularly well.
