Matchup Picks - PGA Tour

Odds: Matchups

Texas Open

As mentioned in the Betfair section we're now back on to the bermuda grass. As a result, current form has

had little bearing in previous years. We also have a course where it is suggested that putting is important but

looking at previous years doesn't make a stand-out case for this theory, or any other. This event has been a

haven for big priced winners in the past and I have a sneaky feeling that a return to form for Richard S Johnson

(200 @ Sporting Odds, 150 @ Skybet) may be overdue. He has missed his last 4 cuts but seems to have better

form on the bermuda greens. However as this his first year on the tour there is no way of telling if this is a valid

trend or not and anyway he isn't included in any match-ups. I have tried but I can't find a bargepole big enough

to touch this event.

Oh, and there's a hurricane heading for Texas. Good luck!
