PGA Championship Outright plays (total stake per play: 2pts) Vijay Singh to win 7/1 generally available I can't really see past Tiger or Vijay for first place this week, but with there being no value at the 9/4 available for Tiger I am going for an outright win on Vijay. Although the 7/1 is a little shorter than I would like, his form speaks for itself and the demoltion of Woods in the 3rd round of the Buick will only increase his confidence on a course that should suit his game perfectly.
Mark Hensby to win 66/1 e.w. generally available Fresh after his victory in the Scandinavian Masters on the European Tour there will be no doubting Mr Hensby will be full of confidence. The four players with the best records in majors this year are Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen ... and Mark Hensby. His complete game is perfectly suited to the majors and although we have missed the 80's orginally available I still think he is well worth an interst at 66/1.
Rod Pampling to win 200/1 e.w. @ coral He has had a great year on the US Tour and is certainly appering far more frequently towards the top of the leaderboards come Sunday afternoon. Had a good finish in the marathon 36 hole finish to The International and providing that has not taken too much out of him, I feel he is way over priced at these odds. | |
