Spread Picks - PGA Tour

Tipster: Andy

Odds: Spreads

Buick Championship

Summary: Bets 6, Wins 3, Losses 3. Loss = 0.5 Pts.  Another losing tournament, albeit by pennies. However, we are on a run since the PGA that we haven't experienced for a few months. That is the nature of spread betting though, losing and winning runs come along when they want, you just have to make sure you are up at the end. So far this season we are up comfortably, but by a much reduced number than when at our highest point.

Round Two Trades.

Buy Jason Bohn Finishing Position at 25 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 46, Profit 10.5 Pts

Buy Bo Van Pelt Finishing Position at 24 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 27.5, Profit 1.75 Pts

Buy Vaughn Taylor Finishing Position at 20 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 13.5, Loss 3.25 Pts

Buy Ben Curtis Finishing Position at 24 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 5, Loss 9.5 Pts

Buy Kevin Sutherland Finishing Position at 22 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 17.5, Loss 2.25 Pts

Five cheapish buys on players who have started really well but whose average finish from here on should be quoted a little higher than they all are.

Round One Trades.

Buy Pat Perez over Hank Kuehne 18H MB at 4 with Sporting Index for 0.25 Pts. M/U 13, Profit 2.25 Pts
Just like the European event, there seems to be no worthwhile trades on the Finishing Positions. Of course there is at least one more opportunity to trade, or as much as three on each player. What we do have though is some value on the R1 matches and in Perez over Kuehne we have a match where the price doesn't seem to absorb the difference in quality between both players. Current form for both reads 22/5/67/6 for Perez and 47/mc/4/71 for Hank's last 4 events. Perez though posted these results in 2 majors and 2 respected PGA events (Western Open and Barclays Classic) whereas Hank played in the BC, Buick and Reno Tahoe Open's and the International Stableford event. Perez is in better current form and at 4 is a worthy trade.
