Good return on the matchups, though a little fortunate to edge the tight ones which had been trailing with one round to play.

PGA Tour

MCI Heritage

Tipster: Shaker

Tournament Trades (1.5pts unless stated):

Retief Goosen to beat Darren Clarke -111 @ BetandWin
See Goosen as easily the better player and certainly the more consistent. Had by far the more satisfactory outcome at the Masters and I'd be making Goosen a heavy favourite here if I was framing the odds.

Jeff Sluman to beat Loren Roberts -111 @
Stan James
Despite Roberts being a past winner here, his 5 year form is desperately poor so with Sluman coming out easily on top over that period, and also having the better form so far this season, I have to have him on my side.

Jonathan Kaye to beat Jay Haas +158 @
Pinnacle
Obviously see that Stanley has gone the other way but there's nothing wrong with a bit of rivalry among friends! I think the price more than compensates for the gulf in current form and seeing as I've backed Kaye outright and laid Haas I just have to play with Kaye being put in as this big an outsider.

Jesper Parnevik to beat Justin Leonard +115 @
Sirbet [2.5 pts]
Opposing another past winner of this event but again this one has plenty of poor recent finishes here to his name and he has shown little so far this year. Parnevik has been a big improver this season and on current form and course form, even with Leonard's win, he surely doesn't deserve to be the outsider in the matchup.

Final Result: 0-4; -6.45 pts

Goosen/Clarke LOST by 11
Sluman/Roberts LOST by 3
Parnevik/Leonard LOST by 2
Kaye/Haas LOST by 2

Three MCs for us, a pity that +3 didn't quite make it as Slu & Jesper would've still had chances with Roberts and Leonard not doing much. Kaye and Haas went to the wire but the latter's back nine was 3 shots better and that proved crucial.
