Matchup Picks - PGA Tour

Tipsters: Stanley (72-hole matchups) & Andy (18-hole matchups)

B.C. Open

FINAL RESULT: 1-1-0; -0.53pts

Senden/Chopra WON by 4
Quigley/Purdy LOST by 11

Frustrating event.

72-hole plays (1.5pts):

John Senden to beat Daniel Chopra -110 @ Carib
Chopra hasn't done much since winning the Henrico County Open on the Nationwide Tour in May, finishing ahead of him in just one of their last eight common events. No doubting Chopra's abilities to have a hot week, but siding with the outright selection who has performed at a high level on the PGA Tour with much more consistency.
(also available at Aces)

Brett Quigley to beat Ted Purdy -135 @ Five Dimes
Purdy has shown some improved form of late, but a missed cut in his one previous visit in 1999 suggests that this might be a difficult week. By contrast Quigley has finished in the top-11 in four of the last six seasons and dominates this matchup in 2004: he has finished ahead of Purdy in nine of their last twelve common events.
