Outright Picks - Nationwide Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Odds: Outright

Chitimacha Louisiana Open

FINAL RESULT: 0-2; -2.00pts

Gutschewski mc
Alker mc

Not a pretty result. Thankfully the Tour takes a three-week break, so plenty of time for re-appraisal.

Outright plays (total stake per play: 1pt)

Scott Gutschewski to win 28/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Now a fully-exempt PGA Tour player after finishing 17th on the Nationwide Tour Money List this year, Gutschewski finished last season with three top-5 finishes on this Tour to secure his PGA Tour Card. Three cuts made in five attempts is a good ratio for a rookie and if he can bring that form to Louisiana this week, he could easily improve on his 7th place finish last year. [28/1 1-2-3-4 @ GolfingGods]

Steve Alker to win 33/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Alker has played on this course only once and on that occasion he won the event! He shot 65-66-69-64 to win and it was not as though he was in good form as he missed the cut the week before and the week after this event. So having shown good form at the start of this year to finish 7th in the Panama Championship and 7th in the New Zealand Open, he appears to be better prepared for this event than three years ago. He should fancy his chances as well! [40/1 1-2-3-4 @ GolfingGods]
