Outright plays (2pts staked) Maria Hjorth 1pt e/w @ 33-1 (Betdirect, Skybet, Stan James) She has been 8th on both previous occasions this course has been used and consider this: previous winners here are Pettersen in 07 and Webb in 06 adn in those years the two of them were imperious at Missions Hills, Kingsmill and Bulle Rock (neither finished outside the top two). Only Sorenstam this year can get close to that form but she isn't here. Ochoa has a 1st and 3rd but 9-4 doesn't excite me. Hjorth was 4th at Mission Hills, 9th at Kingsmill and 2nd at Bulle Rock. So long as all this isn't Bulle Sh-t, we're on a good thing at 33-1 e/w. Final result - I didn't think there was another way in which Maria could crush my hopes in a year of near things, but there was. This time she led after round one before collapsing quite spectacularly. -2pts |
