Outright plays (4pts staked) Maria Hjorth 40-1 w/o Ochoa @ 40-1 (Bet365 1/5 1st 5) After knocking the rust off her winter game she has rediscovered the very solid form of last year (her last 20 outings have now reaped 15 top 20s - 6 of those top five, one win). The world's number one played ten of those events and Hjorth has won "w/o Ochoa" twice and placed another two times - and the most recent of those came with a 72nd hole bogey which cost us the payout and her a third win in this market. I'm not bitter so I'm sticking with her. Na Yeon Choi 50-1 w/o Ochoa @ 50-1 (Skybet) A celebrity in Korea ever since beating Se Ri Pak when she was 17 she might be about to convert her potential. Has conditional status but if her form (two fifths in Mexico, sixth at the Nabisco) continues she won't be missing too many events. Final result: 0-2, -4pts |
