Stanley will be away for a couple of weeks, so Carbine will be posting the LPGA Tour matchup tips.
All plays 2 points. Natalie Gulbis -145 to beat Sophie Gustafson at Olympic Gulbis is the superior player. She holds a commanding H2H record over Gustafson, and her course form isnt terrible, finishing 3rd here last year. Despite the short price, I feel it justifies an investment.
Julie Inkster -135 to beat Pat Hurst at Olympic Hurst is in good form. Inkster is in great form. She had 4 top 5 finishes in succession before her 12th place two weeks ago. At this venue she has 3 top tens from as many starts. Everything suggests another strong showing, and given Inkster's H2H record against Hurst (6-0 with 1 tie in 2006), then -135 does not seem unreasonable.
