Matchup Picks - LPGA Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Odds: Matchups

US Women's Open

FINAL RESULT: 1-2; -3.51pts

Inkster/Creamer LOST by 5
Wie/Creamer LOST by 2
Wie/Jang WON by 6

Wie's final round 82 wrecked these plays as well as the outrights. Very disappointing.

Matchup plays (1.5pts unless stated):

Juli Inkster to beat Paula Creamer -104 @ Expekt
Opposing Creamer after her swing collapsed under pressure from playing partner Lorena Ochoa on Sunday. From a five-shot lead with seven holes to play, she lost by four. That should have some impact this week and this is an event in which experience is important, so siding with the player who has the 5-3-1 h2h advantage in 2005.

Michelle Wie to beat Paula Creamer -110 @ BetFred [4.5pts]
Creamer may have been the first of these players to record a LPGA Tour victory, but in their eight common events on the LPGA Tour she has never finished ahead of Wie and that includes the two previous major championships this year.
(also available at Paddy Power)

Michelle Wie to beat Jeong Jang -110 @ William Hill [3pts]
Have backed Jang in the outrights where she represents value, but not in a head-to-head against Wie. In their four common events this year, it has not even been close with Wie finishing ahead every time and averaging over 1.9 shots per round better than her opponent. Hills compiler rates these two players equally this week and I disagree!
