Safeway Classic NB: Carbine standing in for Stanley this week. Result: 1-0 (+3 points). Inkster beat Mallon by 5. Webb and Park tied. Webb managed to give up an 8 shot lead to Park going into the last round, snatching a tie from the jaws of victory. Inkster didnt play all that well, but Mallon went even worse thankfully.
Julie Inkster -114 to beat Meg Mallon (3 points) at Centrebet Inkster dominates the head to head this year 10-2 and Mallon's last 2 events have been terrible, finishing near the tail of the field in the Evian Masters and missing the cut in the British Open. Inkster is consistently near the top 20 in any tournament she enters.
Karrie Webb -114 to beat Grace Park (1.5 points) at Expekt Webb leads the H2H this year 9-3. Her overall from is stronger and despite Grace Park's strong course form I just cant see this being an even match, as it is priced currently. |
