Matchup Picks - LPGA Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Odds: Matchups

Corona Morelia Championship

FINAL RESULT: 1-0-1; +1.50pts

Gulbis/Delasin TIED (push)
Matthew/Delasin WON by 1

That was hard work! Delasin looked to be out of it after a 2nd round 78, but no-one shot lower over the weekend and Gulbis and Matthew needed to finish in the top-5 to avoid defeat.

Matchup plays (1.5pts):

Natalie Gulbis to beat Dorothy Delasin -122 @ Five Dimes
Just a big difference in consistency between these two. Both have one top-10 from five starts this year, but Gulbis' worst finish has been 32nd, while Delasin has only one other finish inside that mark and finished 43 places behind Gulbis the last time they played in Mexico.

Catriona Matthew to beat Dorothy Delasin -110 @ BetFred
An even bigger difference between these two, in my opinion. Matthew's form has been rather indifferent this year after a bright start, but there was enough in her early play last week to suggest that a return to her former level may be close. But indifferent form or not, she is still at a completely different level to Delasin. In the their last 20 common events, Delasin has finished ahead of the Scot only three times.

Also like Rosales to beat Alfredsson, but Nordicbet's odds of -200 are just too prohibitive!
