Matchup Picks - LPGA Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Odds: Matchups

ADT Championship

FINAL RESULT: 0-4; -11.10pts

Webb/Gustafson LOST by 2
Koch/Gustafson LOST by 2
Koch/Kim LOST by 7
Rosales/Lee LOST by 3

Hardly the ideal way to end the season! Disappointing.

Matchup plays (1.5pts unless stated):

Karrie Webb to beat Sophie Gustafson -130 @ Centrebet [3pts]
Not a lot to add other than Webb is 14-0-0 h2h against Gustafson in strokeplay events in North America this year. Oh, and she's finished ahead of her on the two occasions that Gustafson has played on this course.

Carin Koch to beat Sophie Gustafson -114 @ Expekt [3pts]
Gustafson needed a final round 66 to finish one shot ahead of Koch last week and that was the first time that she had done so since August. With Koch having the better course form as well, I'll back the outright selection to make amends this week.
(also available at William Hill)

Carin Koch to beat Christina Kim -138 @ Five Dimes
Kim also finished ahead of Koch last week, but that was only the fourth time that she has done so in strokeplay events in the past year (21 common events). Kim played this course very poorly last year and a post-win hangover is a real possibility. She withdrew after the 1st round of her next event after her only previous LPGA Tour win.

Jennifer Rosales to beat Meena Lee -114 @ Expekt
A one-shot loss last week was the first time in their last four common events that Rosales has finished behind Lee. Her wrist injury concerns of the summer appear to be over and she did finish 2nd in Japan two weeks ago. On a course where she finished 5th last year, she should be too good for Lee whose is making her debut this week.
