Outright Picks - LPGA Tour

Tipster: Stanley

Wendy's Championship for Children

FINAL RESULT: 0-3; -4.50pts

Kerr mc
Teske 46th
Redman 23rd

Not particularly close to any return. Redman was best-placed and still finished seven shots out of a place finish.

Outright plays (1.5pts):

Cristie Kerr to win 25/1 e.w. @ William Hill
Good price for the 3rd best player in the field (behind Lorena Ochoa and Grace Park) in terms of scoring average in 2004. She has won twice in the last four months and while she has only finished 33rd and 24th in the last two years here, she was in poor form at both times. Playing much better now, she will certainly be looking for that 3rd victory of 2004.

Rachel Teske to win 25/1 e.w. @ Ladbrokes
Teske has yet to win in 2004, but she has come very close, particularly in the last two events where she has finished 2nd and 4th. She missed the European events last year and was rusty in this event last year in finishing 42nd, but she regained her form the week after. This time she has kept playing and should play much better around this course.

Michele Redman to win 40/1 e.w. @ William Hill
Two top-5 finishes in the last four starts and two top-5 finishes from two starts on this course - that is plenty of reason to support Redman. It may be four years since her last win, but this is not the strongest of fields and she does play well on this course.
