Johnson 28th

Brewerton 12th

0-2 (-2 units):  YTD +2.00 units.

No joy. Johnson started well but faded and Brewerton left herself too ,much to do after a poor start.

Not much form to go on in this the first European based event of the year. As a result will be starting off cautiously.

All bets total of 1 unit

Trish Johnson 25/1 (each way)  at Skybet

Johnson is above average and experienced. And at 25/1 she is not overrated in this company. A winner of 18 events, she has 95 top 10 finished in just over 200 starts in this tour. At these odds, and with each way paying for the top 5, it seems worthy of investment.

Becky Brewerton 28/1 (each way)  at Skybet

Now in her third full year, Brewerton seems to be a player on the rise. Several top 10 finishes in the second half of last year were followed by a 3rd place for Wales in the World Cup in South Africa earlier this year. She must be full of confidence in this company now, and she is a player I have marked down as someone to post her maiden victory sometime in 2006.
