Matchup Picks - Ladies European Tour

Evian Masters

Result: 1-2  (-3.5 points)

Wie and Ochoa tied.

Inkster lost to Webb by 6

Han defeated  Jang by 3

Kerr lost to Creamer by 20!

Disappointing in that Ochoa led Wie everywhere bar the post.

Lorena Ochoa to beat Michelle Wie -125 (3 Points) at Centrebet

Ochoa is averaging close to 68 strokes per round on this course. Wie disappointed with a 33rd place finish here last year. Hard not to follow that sort of form difference.

Julie Inkster to beat Karrie Webb  -105 (3 points) at Centrebet

Inster has a great record here, winning the event in 2003 and finishing 6th last year. Webb's form isnt terrible on this course but it isnt quite up to Inkster. Add to this their respective form recently, where Inkster has been averaging one shot less per round than Webb in the last 8 weeks, and has a 5-3 head to head record in stroke play events this year. Inkster should be favourite for this matchup in my view.

Hee Won Han  to beat  Jong Jang  -110 (1.5 points) at Skybet

In 3 attempts here, Jang hasnt finished inside the top 20. On the other hand, Han has finished 2nd and 6th the last 2 years. Overall, Han is averaging 1.25 shots less than Jang per round on this course.

Cristie Kerr to beat Paula Creamer  -108 (1.5 points)  at Centrebet

While Creamer has had an exceptional year, Kerr still holds an 8-3 advantage in tournaments they have played together this year. Add to this the fact that Creamer has not played on this course previously, and Kerr has managed 2 top 10's in 4 tries here, and its hard not to favour Kerr in this match.
